The Horror Influence
I grew up watching classics like Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, and Resident Evil. I spent countless hours playing Resident Evil 1 through 3 on PlayStation, always a step ahead of the next infected horror, scavenging to survive. That tension of gritty desperation always stuck with me.
Cards
The Card Game Influence
But it wasn’t just horror that shaped me, it was card games too. In junior high, I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! during lunch breaks, challenging friends and building decks with whatever cards I could get my hands on. As I got older, my love for the genre deepened. I transitioned to playing Dragon Ball Super Card Game competitively, entering online regionals and showing up every week at my local game shop.

The Thrill of Deck Building
I wasn’t just a fan, I was hooked on the thrill of outplaying my opponent with tight strategies and creative deck building.

The Fusion of Two Passions
NecroGenesis is the fusion of those two passions: tactical card games and post-apocalyptic horror. A deeply asymmetric battle for survival where every decision feels like life or death.
